“I am grateful to be able to support the protection and care of the sacred cow through the Haridas Cow Protection Foundation. Originally I donated to the organization by wiring funds directly to India. Being able to now donate through an entity here in the United States, is very helpful and convenient.”

“The Haridas Cow Foundation is a non-profit organization that draws attention to the value of the cow in human society, while pointing to the increasing mistreatment and deteriorating condition of this pivotal creature so crucial to human well-being . This is obviously the case in the West, where cows are factory farmed for slaughter in appallingly cruel conditions, but is also increasingly true in India. There, while cows and bulls are not usually butchered, they are increasingly left to fend for themselves by foraging in urban garbage site. The Foundation is primarily focused on the financial support of the Haridas shastri Goshalla in Vrindavan, which was established by Haridas Shastri, well known in this holy place as a renunciate and scholar, to set an example of how this most valuable creature should be cared for. I myself spend time every year in the goshalla, and can vouch for the dedication and integrity of the managers and caretakers. The participants and associates of the Foundation are all successful professionals in their own right, whose only motive is love of and service to the cow, which they serve and support as volunteers, sevakas. I can attest that all donations are channeled exclusively to the care of these creatures, with no Foundation-related or other intermediary costs syphoned off as institutional expenses. The members of the Foundation team, under the auspices of Ajay Jani, are all inspired by the example of Haridas Shastri, and dedicated to pursuing his legacy. The Foundation also provides an opportunity for donors to receive tax-exemption for their contributions, 100% of which are used exclusively in the housing, feeding and maintenance of the several hundred cows and bulls of the goshalla.”

“I had a great luck of visiting Sri Haridas Niwas several times when visiting Vrindavan Dham. The cows there are kept in excellent shape, and I don't think I have ever seen cleaner cows and go-shala. I'm living in a city in west and obviously there are no opportunities to do any go-seva but when I learned about Haridas Cow Protection Foundation I became inspired to participate. I trust Haridas Cow Protection Foundation will continue their great effort in providing support for cows.”
